I’ve never done one of these before, but in a few weeks I’ll be selecting someone to get a free shirt of their choice using a list randomizer. Only reblogs count, but you can reblog this as many times as you’d like. I’ll message the winner in 2-3 weeks. Also, whatever shirt they choose will be available at a discounted price for a week after or so.
Breaking Same-Sex Marriage News of the Day: Maryland today became the eigth state to legalize same-sex marriage after the state’s marriage equality bill passed in the state Senate by a vote of 25 to 22.
The state House passed the bill last week, and Gov. Martin O’Malley has already vowed to sign it.
If the legislation avoids a challenge from opponants who want a referendum on same-sex marriage — a scenario which remains uncertain — same-sex couples can begin tying the knot in January.
If, however, the issue does get added to November’s ballot, the result is currently unclear. The latest polls show Maryland voters evenly split on same-sex marriage.
I know it’s been said before, but this new Dr. Pepper ad seriously gets under my skin. And the fact remains that although people have complained, this ad is still being run. The whole notion of something being “manly” and “not for woman” is an out-dated construct of a patriarchal society, and we need to stand up against it. Watch this ad, and then click the link below to send an email to Dr. Pepper telling them that they need to stop airing this sexist and offensive commercial to promote their drink. If it was any good, they wouldn’t need sexism to sell it. Let’s flood their inbox until they HAVE to stop airing it.
Apparently the Paulbots got to it first, because Ron Paul is winning by about 10,000 votes (LOL IN YOUR DREAMS LIBERTARIANS), so we need to get to it stat!
Sometimes, when I see fellow White people acting up, I just get this voice in my head that goes “Great, now I gotta be responsible for these White people” like Kanye West and the water bottle tweet.
I don’t know, it just comes to me and I laugh to myself.
Moderator: “So you spoke about the dangers of contraception. Can you talk about why contraceptives are dangerous?”
Santorum: “What we are seeing is a problem in our culture with respect to children being raised by children, children being raised out of wedlock, and the economic impact and the impact on society.”
PRO TIP, BRO: BABIES HAPPEN WHEN YOU DON’T USE CONTRACEPTION, NOT WHEN YOU DO.
